Woman besieged by neighbor's 20 cats

She contacts Whistleblower for advice on how to deal with a felince invasion.

July 19, 2010 at 2:57PM

A woman in Wright County contacted Whistleblower because of a feline invasion:

"My neighbor has over 20 cats and counting... I have called the city, the county, Humane Society, various other humane services and no one will help. I keep getting told, 'Yep, it's a problem.' I have talked over and over to the neighbor and haven't had any luck."

The neighbor initially agreed to bring the cat collection to the animal shelter, but he soon changed his mind. She set up live traps in her yard, but her neighbor sneaks onto her property while she's sleeping and liberates the cats. "I am allergic to cats but really want my yard back from the cats and free of cat poop," she wrote.

What should she do?
