Preview: The Wolves — off to their best 20-game start since 2008-09 — enter the final game of their four-game homestand with a chance to go 3-1 before heading down to New Orleans for the second of a back-to-back. The Wolves are coming off a 119-108 victory over Phoenix in which the Wolves shots 52.7 percent and 9-for-21 on three-pointers. Washington, without star guard John Wall, is also playing in the first game of a back-to-back; the Wizards play in Philadelphia on Wednesday. Washington has lost four of five.

Players to watch: Wolves G Tyus Jones got his first career start Sunday and responded with nine points, four rebounds and a career-high seven steals. G Jimmy Butler has scored 20 or more points in four of six games, G Andrew Wiggins in three of his last five. Washington G Bradley Beal is coming off a 26-point, seven-assist game vs. Portland Saturday. F Otto Porter Jr. had 24 points and 10 rebounds in that game.

Numbers: The Wolves are 10-2 when they shoot 45 percent or better, 7-0 when holding opponents under 100 points and 11-2 when leading after three quarters. The two teams have alternated wins over their past 16 meetings.

Injuries: Wolves C Justin Patton (foot) is out. G Jeff Teague (right Achilles) and F Nemanja Bjelica (left mid-foot sprain) are questionable. Wizards G/F Sheldon Mac (left Achilles surgery) and Wall (sore left knee) are out.
