Wolves still waiting for word on Budinger

Shooting guard/small forward should have MRI this afternoon

November 11, 2012 at 4:25PM

Greetings.

Just a quick update to say we really don't have an update yet on Chase Budinger.

The latest word I got was that the Wolves were still waiting on a time for an MRI on Budinger, which should get done this afternoon. Budinger twisted his left knee with six minutes left in Saturday's loss in Chicago when his foot got stuck and his left knee got tangled and twisted in a scrum under the Wolves' basket.

We are also expecting an update on whether J.J. Barea (mid--foot sprain) will be going to
Dallas to join the team. It's likely that an update on Brandon Roy's right knee soreness won't come until shootaround Monday morning.

I'll update the blog with any news as the day progresses. Until then, enjoy your rather cold Sunday.
