Greetings.

Jerry will be back in action tomorrow for the Wolves-Cleveland game. But I had practice again today.

It was a rather hurried affair, as the players had to go a league-sponsored meeting immediately after the practice ended. But here's what I gleaned:

--Coach Rick Adelman put them through a fairly long and detailed film session before the players took the floor. Adelman said he doesn't like to do a whole lot of that sort of thing. But with the compressed schedule and the lack of practice time -- and with a young team still learning on the fly -- he's been doing a good bit of it.

Today they watched film of their rough stretches, especially the 13-0 Memphis put on them in the fourth quarter of last night's game.

"I always try to pick and choose (with film work)," Adelman said. "I try not to do it all the time. We do a lot individually with the players. But this early in the season, with this group, I think it's important they see what we're talking about."

--Anthony Tolliver hurt his right (shooting) wrist and his back when he fell to the floor after being undercut last night. He didn't do anything but take a few shots today. He said he was lucky he didn't try to break his fall with his hand, as he might have broken the wrist. As it is, he is questionable for tomorrow. He hopes he heals quickly enough to play, but I'd guess it's a long shot.

--Point guard J.J. Barea (hamstring) did some running today and might play tomorrow. Adelman will decide after consulting with the trainers before the game.

--Meanwhile, Kevin Love talked about the addition to his arsenal, that turn-around, off-the-glass bank shot he trotted out last night. He said he's seen guys like Elton Brand, David West and Carlos Boozer use it. "They're like-sized to me," Love said. "And they've done that move. That's something I've been working on."

--Kevin Love on his contract situation: "I figure if I go out and play and try to help the team win, everything will take care of itself. I'm not focusing on that right now. I'm focusing on Cleveland."

That's about it for today. Jerry will get back at you tomorrow. Have a good night.
