Preview: The 22-22 Pacers have lost three consecutive games to New York and at the L.A. Lakers and Utah after going 7-21 before that. They are 16-6 at home and 6-16 on the road. … They're not quite as accomplished at it as are the Wolves, but the Pacers have lost four games this season in which they led by double digits. Included was Monday's loss to the Knicks. … This is the first of two meetings between the teams. The Pacers swept last season's series.

Players to watch: Pacers forward Paul George has scored 30 or more points six times this season after his 31-point game Monday; the Pacers are 4-2 in those six games. He's averaging 22.2 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.7 steals a game and leads the NBA in free-throw percentage (.926). … There are three former Wolves on Indiana's roster: Al Jefferson, Thad Young and Glenn Robinson III. Jefferson has scored in double figures coming off the bench five times in his past seven games.

Injuries: Pacers guards Aaron Brooks (sore knee), Monta Ellis (sore ankle) and Rodney Stuckey (sore hamstring) are listed as questionable.
