Greetings. Youngblood here. I was at practice today while Jerry prepared to fly to California.

There are a few things to touch on today.

1. There was a report on CBSsports.com, citing unnamed sources, saying that Wolves management was leaning towards replacing Kurt Rambis as coach after the season ends. One potential replacement, the report cited, was Milwaukee assistant Kelvin Sampson. The report said the feeling was the Wolves needed a more high-energy coach and that Kevin Love would not oppose such a move.

OK. The fact that Rambis' situation may be assessed at the end of the season is not a surprise. But I don't think a move is highly likely and I certainly don't think the process of putting together names of potential replacements has begun. Wolves president of basketball operations David Kahn said, through a Wolves spokesman, that the report was untrue.

This much I can tell you: There is a persistent perception nationally that Love and Rambis don't get along, one that began when the two disagreed about playing time during the 2000-10 season. I talked with Love at some length today and he painted a different picture, crediting Rambis with much of his improvement this season. I wrote about it for tomorrow's paper, so check it out.

2. Michael Beasley missed practice today with a sore neck, but should play tomorrow.

3. The Wolves have won back to back games by more than 20 points for the first time since December of 2001.

That's about it. Jerry will get back to you tomorrow.
