Wolves-Dallas, 7 p.m. FSN, WCCO-AM
Preview: The game pits two teams with identical records but in opposite places. The Mavericks, who have lost two in a row, three out of four and five out of seven, are an older team likely due for an overhaul, with Dirk Nowitzki nearing the end of his career and center Andrew Bogut clearly unhappy in Texas. The Wolves, who carry a four-game losing streak into the game, are a young team still trying to find a comfort zone with coach Tom Thibodeau. The Mavericks, 4-15 on the road, are 15 games under .500 for the first time since 1997-98.

Players to watch: G/F Andrew Wiggins (16), C Karl-Anthony Towns (18) and G Zach LaVine (24) combined for nearly 60 points in Saturday's loss to Utah at Target Center. But the three were a combined 4-for-16 in the fourth quarter. The Wolves, up by nine with 3½ minutes left, were outscored 11-0 the rest of the way. Dallas F Nowitzki, who has missed 25 games this season — three because of an illness, 22 because of an Achilles strain — has just one 20-point game this season. F Harrison Barnes is averaging a career-high 20.6 points and has scored 25 or more 10 times. G Wesley Matthews (15.4 ppg) has six games with 25 or more.

Injuries: Neither team reports any injuries.
