Greetings. Youngblood here again.

Well, that was fun to watch wasn't it? A day off and two great practices after the Saturday victory over Toronto and the Wolves come out with this performance?

I know Luke Ridnour wasn't here. But still.. The Wolves didn't move the ball all night, didn't play much defense, turned the ball over too much (again) and couldn't get Kevin Love going at all.

Here are some thoughts on the game:

--What is going on with Darko Milicic? Wednesday he let Marc Gasol take him completely out of his game. I mean completely. Darko is a turnover machine. Wednesday he had three points, two rebounds and five turnovers. When is he going to stop bringing the ball down? When are his glacial post moves going to get back to the crispness he has shown at times this season?

--Love had only four shots through three quarters. True, the ball needed to come his way more. But he was struggling to get separation tonight, too. Memphis was sticking with him through pick and rolls, forcing him to alter his shots and out-fighting him for rebounds. Zach Randolph (23 and 13) and Gasol took him out of his game, too.

--A day after learning he'd be playing in the rookie challenge, Wes Johnson came out shooting brick after brick. He was 0-for-3 in the first quarter, 1-for-4 in the second and third.

--It's an indication of how stagnant the Wolves offense was -- and how fluid Memphis' was -- when you consider that the Grizzlies had just as many turnovers as the Wolves. Both had 17. The difference? Memphis got 26 points off Wolves turnovers. The Wolves got just 10 off Grizzlies turnovers. And eight of those points came in the fourth quarter, when the game was already out of reach.

One other thing: Love got clobbered in the mouth in the fourth quarter, loosening a tooth. He will have it checked tomorrow. I'll be at practice and will update you all then. Have a good night.
