Wine

Sometimes a guy just wants a wine that tastes like Del Monte fruit cocktail. A wine like the 2012 Les Jardins de Bonpas Luberon Blanc ($11), with nice acidity tickling the palate as a wide array of fruit flavors roll through. This French white blend (grenache blanc, clairette, rolle and bouboulenc) is a natural for lighter cheeses, mild-to-medium-spiced Mexican dishes and shrimp cocktail.

Available at Bacchus, On the Rocks, Skyway, Kowalski's, North Loop, the Wine Shop and others.
