But some vintners are having great success with another red grape, and the proof is in the bottle with the 2010 Piattelli Premium Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon ($15). The grapes grow at 3,900 feet and produce a lighter-than-usual cabernet with blue and red berry and chocolate notes, plus a plush finish. Try it with any beef dish, from burgers to filets to fajitas, or a dessert featuring dark chocolate or blue cheese.
