Wine
Greece's white wines have been gaining a lot of attention of late, but the reds continue to be (unjustly) ignored. The 2010 Tetramythos Agiorgitiko ($15) is a wonderful introduction, whether you can pronounce the grape's name or not (it's "ah-jee-or-jee-TEE-koh"). Dark cherry flavors blend with just enough acidity and some nice earthiness. Try it with moussaka, hearty pastas, lamb burgers or hard cheeses.
Available at Sorella, Top Valu, Rite Liquor, Stadium Spirits and MGM in Mankato.
