Those of you clamoring to see the old North Stars logo back on Minnesota home ice are getting your wish. For one day, anyway.

The Wild on Monday unveiled the home team uniform for the Feb. 20 game vs. Chicago Blackhawks alumni.

Minnesota native and celebrated Minnesota North Star Neal Broten today unveiled the uniform that the combined Minnesota Wild and North Stars alumni team will wear for the 2016 NHL Stadium Series™ Alumni Game against the Chicago Blackhawks alumni. The alumni game will be played at TCF Bank Stadium on the University of Minnesota campus on Saturday, Feb. 20 at 4 p.m. CT, as a lead up to the 2016 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series™ game on Sunday, Feb. 21 at 2:30 p.m. between the Minnesota Wild and the Chicago Blackhawks.

"It's fun to put on this jersey. I think the fans will get a kick out of watching us play on Saturday just because of the rivalry in the past," said Broten. "I think fans will remember the games we used to play at the old Met Center against the Blackhawks. It should be a fun game, and then of course, the game on Sunday will be packed."

The 2016 NHL Stadium Series Alumni Game uniform, in contrast to the enlarged numbers and bold striping of the Minnesota Wild NHL Stadium Series jersey, harkens back to the first NHL® franchise to call the State of Hockey® home. The vintage Minnesota North Stars™ home white uniform directly mimics the last version of the jersey adorned with the "N-star" logo. Nostalgic green and yellow shadowed numbers and accent stripes will be a familiar sight back on Minnesota ice. The shoulders of the alumni jersey feature the Minnesota North Stars™ and the Minnesota Wild logos, linking together the alumni from both teams.

The classic look does not end with jersey. The pants are also vintage Minnesota North Stars™ green with gold and white piping and the uniform is finished with retro tan gloves resembling leather gloves of the 1960-70s.

The NHL Stadium Series Alumni Game jersey is expected to be available for purchase in February at all Hockey Lodge locations. Other NHL Stadium Series apparel and novelty items including hats, t-shirts, sweatshirts, pucks and mini sticks are on sale now at all Hockey Lodge locations.

On Friday, Jan. 15, fans will be invited to skate alongside some of their favorite Minnesota Wild and North Stars alumni at "Skate with the Stars" at Wells Fargo WinterSkate in downtown Saint Paul. From 5:30 - 6:30 p.m., several alumni participating in the NHL Stadium Series Alumni Game will be skating and signing autographs. The Wild take on the Winnipeg Jets that evening at 7 p.m. at Xcel Energy Center.
