The Wild officially announced its 35-player training camp roster (20 or so more will be added as players are promoted from the prospect tournament) this morning and officially provided information for two practices that will be open to the public -- one in St. Paul, one in Duluth.

-- Players report Thursday for physicals, fitness tests and photos. The first day on the ice is Friday.

-- The Wild's B and C groups will scrimmage Saturday morning at Xcel Energy Center. Doors will open at 9 a.m. and entry is free to the public. Concessions will be open and the scrimmage begins at 9:25 a.m. If you come early, you can see the end of Group B's practice (the team is split into three groups for the first part of training camp).

-- On Sept. 30 -- the Wild's final day of three in Duluth, fans can watch practice at AMSOIL Arena at 10:30 a.m. prior to the team driving back to St. Paul for its final exhibition game Oct. 1 against the Sabres.

-- Remember, single-game tickets go on sale at Xcel Energy Center at 9 a.m. Saturday. Tickets will be available in all other places starting at noon. The stadium series game is not yet available.

-- Also, the Wild announced new security measures effective Sept. 21, 2015 at Xcel Energy Center. As part of an NHL-wide effort, walk-through metal detectors have been added at all entrances of Xcel Energy Center to provide fans with a smoother, faster screening environment.

"Providing a secure environment has always been our top priority and we fully support this new league-wide initiative," said Matt Majka, chief operating officer of the Minnesota Wild. "The introduction of walk-through metal detectors will allow us to provide a more efficient screening process for our fans and contribute to a more consistent entry experience."

All fans, media, vendors and staff will be required to pass through walk-through metal detectors upon entry to Wild games at Xcel Energy Center. Guests will not be asked to remove jackets, shoes, belts, keys, watches or coins, but cell phones and cameras must be set in designated bins before passing through the metal detectors.

To expedite the screening process, fans are encouraged to leave non-essential items at home or in their vehicles. Gates will open 75 minutes prior to game time to allow fans extra time to acclimate to the new screening process.

As part of these new security procedures, the Wild has also amended its smoking policy at Xcel Energy Center. Smoking will be permitted outside of Gate 3 once the game has begun. Fans will need to be re-screened to renter the arena. Smoking will be prohibited outside Gate 3 prior to game time.

Here is the training camp roster, which includes three players on tryouts (most notably goalie Leland Irving, a 2006 Calgary Flames first-rounder essentially trying out for Iowa). Again, the camp will increase dramatically this week, so don't freak when you don't see Mike Reilly, etc, on this roster:
