Eastern 'tour' opens in Toronto

Preview: Thursday's matinee at Toronto starts a string of four consecutive games against Eastern Conference foes for the Wild, which is 4-6-1 vs. the East this season.

Players to watch: Leafs D Morgan Rielly leads NHL defensemen in goals (13) and points (44). F Mitch Marner ranks sixth in the league with 53 points. Wild F Zach Parise has two goals and two assists the past three games.

Numbers: The Wild leads the NHL in fewest shots allowed (28.4 per game) and fewest times shorthanded (46) in road games this season.

Injuries: Wild D Matt Dumba (torn pectoral muscle) is out; D Nick Seeler (upper body) is probable. Toronto G Frederik Andersen (groin) is day to day; F Tyler Ennis (broken ankle) and F Zach Hyman (ankle) are out.
