STAR TRIBUNE'S THREE STARS

1. Jake Allen, St. Louis: The goalie stopped 32 shots for his 24th victory and narrowly missed his fourth shutout when Mikko Koivu scored with 10.5 seconds left.

2. Jaden Schwartz, St. Louis: After missing a chance to give the Blues a 2-0 lead in the second period, his backhanded pass to a wide-open Vladimir Tarasenko set up the Blues' second goal.

3. David Perron, Blues: Scored the game's first goal on a beautiful deflection.

By the numbers
