PHILADELPHIA – John Torchetti will face his first adversity as Wild coach on Thursday night.
Fresh off its first loss in five games, the Wild arrived in Philadelphia for the first in a two-game road trip without top-six forwards Zach Parise and Jason Zucker.
Parise is day-to-day because of an upper-body injury, while Zucker was placed on injured reserve because of a concussion that Torchetti denied he had the day before. Zucker, who can't be activated until Monday, will miss at least the next three games.
The Wild recalled winger Jordan Schroeder from Iowa of the AHL. Schroe- der has one goal, no assists and 11 shots in 13 games with the Wild this season.
