Senators slipping as they arrive

Preview: The Wild hosts the Senators before playing its final game before the All-Star break Thursday in Pittsburgh. Since the start of the season, the team has lost only four times in regulation at home. Ottawa is coming off a tough loss to Toronto, having surrendered three third-period goals to the Maple Leafs to fall 4-3. It was the Senators' third loss in their past four games.

Players to watch: Winger Mark Stone has recorded 10 points in his past six games. Defenseman Erik Karlsson boasts a team-high 27 assists. Winger Mike Hoffman has two of his 12 goals in the past three games.

Numbers: The Wild has won three straight over the Senators. Center Eric Staal has a team-high 11 multipoint games this season. The Senators have scored just two power-play goals in their past 11 games. Ottawa has won only once in its past 10 road games.

Injuries: Wild F Nino Niederreiter (lower-body injury) is out. Senators D Chris Wideman (torn hamstring) and F Jean-Gabriel Pageau (upper-body injury) are also out.
