Wild-Nashville game preview

Preview: The Wild will try to run its road winning streak to three, but it'll have to do it in a place that hasn't always been friendly. Minnesota is 7-13-4 at Nashville all-time, and the Wild lost its first game there this season, 3-2 on Oct. 8. This is the fourth of five consecutive home games for Nashville. The Predators split the first two games before losing to Ottawa 2-1 in a shootout Saturday. Nashville had a 33-21 advantage in shots on goal, including 6-0 in overtime.

Players to watch: Wild RW Justin Fontaine and RW Jason Pominville each has a goal in two games against Nashville this season. G Darcy Kuemper is expected to get the start, which will be his first against Nashville. Shea Weber is the Predators' leading scorer (10-19—29). Mike Fischer scored his 12th goal of the season against the Senators. Craig Smith has a team-high 13 goals.

Numbers: Seven of the past eight games between these two teams have been decided by one goal. The two teams have split two games this season, each winning at home.

Injuries: Wild C Mikko Koivu (ankle), LW Zach Parise (foot), D Jared Spurgeon (foot) and G Josh Harding (illness) are out. Nashville G Pekka Rinne (hip surgery) is out; RW Patric Hornqvist (lower body) is questionable.
