Preview: The Kings, who are two shy of the team record of 46 wins, have won six in a row and 14 of the past 17 games. They are the best defensive team in the West, allowing 2.07 goals and 26.6 shots per game. The Wild is 1-1 on its four-game road trip and 4-5-4 in its past 13 overall. With Darcy Kuemper struggling (three-plus goals allowed in six of his past eight starts) and Ilya Bryzgalov coming off a 23-save win Saturday at Phoenix, the Wild likely will return with Bryzgalov.

Players to watch: Wild LW Zach Parise scored twice Saturday and tied RW Jason Pominville for the team lead with 27 goals. With his father, J.P. Parise, on the road trip, he passed his father in career goals with 239. C Mikko Koivu has nine assists in his past seven games and is on a five-game point streak. D Jared Spurgeon has 12 points in his past 18 games and a career-high 24. Kings C Anze Kopitar has eight goals and 19 points in the past 18 games. He is playing on a line with Marian Gaborik, who has eight points in 12 games since being acquired from Columbus and is the Wild's all-time leading goal scorer with 219.

Injuries: Wild D Keith Ballard (groin) and RW Cody McCormick (eye) practiced Sunday and are questionable; D Clayton Stoner (knee) and F Jason Zucker (quad) are out. The Kings are healthy.
