Tyler Pitlick scored 56 seconds into the game and Tyler Seguin added a pair of goals to lead Dallas to a 4-1 victory over the Wild on Tuesday at American Airlines Center.

With two preseason games remaining, the Wild fell to 3-2 during the exhibition season.

Pitlick, a former standout at Centennial High School who played one season at Minnesota State Mankato, beat Wild goalie Alex Stalock on the game's first shot to set the tone. Seguin and Jason Dickinson scored 1:25 apart in the second period to make it 3-0.

Jason Zucker ended Stars' goalie Kari Lehtonen's shutout 34 seconds into the third. It was the Wild's first 5-on-5 goal since last Thursday against Winnipeg.

Seguin added an empty-net goal with 2:43 left.

Stalock made 33 saves.

Minnesota continues its warm-up to next Thursday's season opener in Detroit with a game vs. the Blues on Thursday. That matchup will be played at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, a city that held an NHL team for two seasons in the 1970s.

The Wild closes out the preseason Saturday against the Stars at Xcel Energy Center.
