The Wild released its roster for the July 11-17 development camp today, and there will be two open scrimmages to the public at Xcel Energy Center at 11 a.m. July 16 and 17.

New Aeros coach John Torchetti and Wild director of player development Brad Bombardir will run the show on the ice, as well as a very tanned assistant coach Darby Hendrickson -- if they can get him off the golf course.

If you didn't believe the Wild's prospect pool was abundantly deeper than a year or two ago, just take a gander.

At the camp will be 2010 first-round pick Mikael Granlund and second-round picks Johan Larsson, Brett Bulmer and Jason Zucker, 2011 first-round picks Jonas Brodin and Zack Phillips, 2011 second-round pick Mario Lucia and 2010 Sharks first-round pick Charlie Coyle, snatched up in the Brent Burns trade.

Marco Scandella and Jared Spurgeon, two guys vying for blue-line spots on the Wild next season, and Cody Almond and Carson McMillan, two guys vying for forward spots, will be at camp, as well as recent college free-agent pickups Chay Genoway and Justin Fontaine.

Several college invitees will be at camp, including UMD's J.T. Brown (currently at Philly's camp) and Jack Connolly and Como Park all-time leading scorer Mike Kramer.

Tyler Cuma will be at camp, but he won't be on the ice because of the reconstructive knee surgery he underwent late last season. He tore his ACL in February in the Aeros-Peoria game at the X. Also, Casey Wellman, Nate Prosser and Jarod Palmer can't participate due to them being outside their entry-level contracts.
