As part of the celebration surrounding the Stars’ 25th anniversary in Dallas, former North Stars forward Mike Modano, the NHL’s all-time leading American-born scorer (1,374 points), will be honored at the game.

Players to watch: With two goals Thursday, Wild F Zach Parise extended his point streak to five games, with four goals and two assists in that span. Dallas D John Klingberg is ranked third in scoring among NHL defensemen with 62 points, and his 55 assists are No. 1.

Numbers: The Wild is 11-3-4 in its past 18 games against Dallas, including a 5-2-2 mark on the road. … F Mikael Granlund has 43 assists this season, tying his career high.
