Preview: The Stars (86 points) are in must-win territory, sitting five points from the final Western Conference playoff spot with five games remaining. The teams play two games in a row, with the rematch Saturday in Dallas. The Stars ended an eight-game winless skid Tuesday with a 3-2 overtime victory over the Flyers. That slide was the team's longest losing streak since the franchise moved to Dallas in 1993. The Wild has 94 points (third in the Central Division) with six games left in the regular season.

Players to watch: Stars C Tyler Seguin recorded his 500th career point (in 585 games) Tuesday. LW Jamie Benn is a point shy of 70. John Klingberg leads all NHL defensemen in assists (55). … Wild C Eric Staal (40) is fourth in the NHL in goals and aiming at Marian Gaborik's team record of 42. It is Staal's third 40-goal season. Wild rookie LW Jordan Greenway made his NHL debut in Tuesday's 2-1 shootout loss in Nashville, playing 14 shifts with 10:01 of ice time.

Numbers: The Wild is 3-0-3 in its past six games. … Stars winger Alexander Radulov has five points in his last five games. … Dallas is 14-18-5 on the road.

Injuries: Wild F Luke Kunin (torn anterior cruciate ligament) and D Jared Spurgeon (right hamstring tear) are out. Stars G Ben Bishop (knee) and F Martin Hanzal (back) are out.
