Who would pitch for Twins in Wild Card game?

July 23, 2015 at 12:54AM

This is a far-off, ludicrous question to ask in July, but I've been thinking about it a lot so I'm going to ask it anyway:

If the Twins do manage to find their way into the playoffs as a Wild Card team, who would you want on the mound for what is now a one-game, winner-take-all playoff between the two Wild Card teams?

Keep in mind that Ervin Santana is not an option because as part of the terms of his drug suspension he is ineligible for the postseason. That probably leaves us with either Kyle Gibson or Phil Hughes — an interesting choice if the Twins were able to line up their rotation.

similar but … Radball, which is not to be confused with RandBall, is basically soccer on bicycles. It is terrifying and awesome, as noted at deadspin.com.

a la carte NBA fans who only want to pay to watch individual games on TV can do so now. They'll cost $6.99 apiece, so choose wisely.
