It's been nearly 50 years since Minnesota's own Bob Dylan went electric--and the move is still courting controversy.

In the season premiere of PBS's "HIstory Detectives," airing next Tuesday, the experts claim to be 99.9 percent certain the the Fender Stratocaster Dylan used at the 1965 Newport Folk Festival belongs to Dawn Peterson, a woman whose father flew musicans to gigs. According to Peterson, Dylan left the soon-to-be-famous in the plane. The family tried to reach out to Dylan's people, but got no response.

But according to David Brauder of the Associated Press, Dylan's camp is insisting that the legendary musician still owns the guitar.
