LOS ANGELES - A few weeks ago, I had an uncomfortable phone interview with Angie Harmon in which she accused me of never watching her smash series, "Rizzoli & Isles," because I mispronounced the name of her character, Rizzoli. So I was a little skittish meeting her in person this week on the set of the TNT series.

No worries. The star couldn't have been nicer, cracking jokes about how she's able to get out of speeding tickets thanks to her roles as law-enforcement officials on "Law & Order" and her new drama.

"I'll raise an eyebrow and say, 'Do you own a television?'" she said.

Equally gracious was Lorraine Bracco, who plays Harmon's mother. From the set of Isles' kitchen, she offered oatmeal cookies she baked the night before.

However, I had my eye on the vast stock of wine bottles in a refrigerator in the kitchen. I hinted that it might not be a bad idea to crack one open, though it wasn't even noon yet.

"Oh, you ignore my cookies for the wine," the former "Sopranos" star shot back.
