The lineup and details of St. Paul's Live Nation festival will be announced today at 2 p.m., same time that the "Note" website will go live.

If you have spotted the billboards and print ads around town asking the question, "What is the Note?" you probably are curious to hear the answer. We think we have it.

A countdown on the website Whatisthenote.com promises something big today at 2 p.m., which is also the time when Live Nation and Mayor Chris Coleman have scheduled a press conference at the Minnesota Science Museum to announce the lineup and details of their two-day summer music festival. As we reported last week, the Dave Matthews Band and Tool are the rumored headliners for the June 23-24 event, the name of which is still under wraps. The press release for the mayoral conference includes the same music-note logo seen in those advertisements. Other ads that link to the same website are using the logo "River's Edge," which could likely be the name of the festival (never mind that it's also the name of a tubers park and sometime-concert-venue in Somerset, Wis.).

Check back later today when this will all finally come to a crescendo.
