Leslye Orr shares her vision with the audience. The first way, through a flimsy pair of glasses that block the sight in the left eye, is a nice gag. The second way — through her experiences of growing up legally blind — connects us to her life. From high-school hijinks in Iowa to taking a leap of faith at Children's Theatre Company that led to a broken heel, Orr has always been fearless in the face of her disability. This hodgepodge show takes time to get going, but Orr stays in command. (8:30 p.m. Sat., 8:30 p.m. Wed., 5:30 p.m., Thur., 10 p.m. Aug. 13, Strike Theater, 824 18th Av. NE., Mpls.)
