Theft. Someone stole $2,900 from a home on the 7000 block of McCauley Trail. There were no signs of forced entry.

MARCH 10

Burglary. A television, cellphone and jewelry were stolen from a home on the 5700 block of France Avenue S. There were no signs of forced entry.

Theft. A purse and contents valued at $1,557 were stolen from a vehicle on the 5000 block of Eden Avenue.

FEB. 8

Drugs. A 19-year-old Carver man was arrested for supplying LSD to three 14-year-old girls on the 800 block of 3rd Avenue.

FEB. 10

Alcohol violation. An Excelsior man, manager of Excelsior Brewing Co. at 421 3rd St., was serving and consuming alcohol inside the bar after hours, police said, which is against the city ordinance.

Drunken driving. A 39-year-old Minnetonka woman was arrested for drunken driving on the 400 block of 3rd Street. Earlier that day she was found to be selling alcohol after hours at Excelsior Brewing Co., 421 3rd St.

FEB. 15

Noise complaint. A noise complaint and possible verbal domestic case was reported at a home on Water Street. Officers found there was just a man yelling at his television.

FEB. 20

Animal complaint. A cougar was sighted on Hwy. 7 near Stone Lake. Officers advised the Minnesota DNR.

FEB. 22

Welfare check. A 57-year-old woman from the 21500 block of Hwy. 7 reported that she had been unable to reach her friend for a couple of hours. While the officer was meeting with the woman, her friend called to say she was at Maynards restaurant in Excelsior.

Theft. A 1995 Honda Civic was stolen from the Best Buy parking lot, 1000 W. 78th St.

Drugs. A 25-year-old man was arrested for possession of marijuana on France Avenue N. and Hwy. 100.

SHOREWOOD

FEB. 1

Burglary. A woman from an apartment on the 500 block of 2nd Street reported that while she was in jail, someone stole an antique chest and china bowl from her.

FEB. 2

Drugs. A 23-year-old Wayzata man was cited for possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle and for having no insurance after his vehicle was stopped for an equipment violation at Galpin Lake Road and Murray Street.

FEB. 8

Drugs. A 28-year-old Shorewood man overdosed on methamphetamine on the 5600 block of Grant Lorenz Road. The next day, a search warrant was issued for his home and he was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

FEB. 14

Theft. Lumber was stolen from a home under construction on the 24500 block of Smithtown Road.

FEB. 24

Suspicious activity. Someone reported seeing three people with flashlights at their neighbor's house on the 6100 block of Deer Ridge. Numerous agencies responded and surrounded the house. Three adults walked out of the front door and officers learned they were the residents of the house. They were trying out new flashlights.

FEB. 26

Animal complaint. A person called to report that a raccoon was stuck in a garbage can on Howards Point Road. Officers told the person to tip the garbage can over and call back if the raccoon did not exit. The person never called back.
