BLOOMINGTON

FEB. 29

Robbery. A man approached a woman in the 8100 block of W. 102nd Street, claimed to have a weapon and stole her 2015 GMC Terrain. Police were able to track the vehicle through its GPS system. With the help of six other agencies, the suspect was captured after the vehicle crashed near Pike Lake Trail and Carriage Hills Parkway in Prior Lake. A 29-year-old Norwood Young America man was arrested.

EDEN PRAIRIE

FEB. 29

Arson. Someone burned an oversized beach umbrella at Riley Lake Park. There is a reward leading to an arrest in the investigation; contact the Eden Prairie police at 952-949-6200 and refer to case #16-007558.

EDINA

FEB. 8

Theft. A girl and boy, both 16 years old, were arrested for theft at Edina High School, 6754 Valley View Road.

FEB. 10

Theft. Four iPads were stolen from Interlachen Country Club, 6200 Interlachen Blvd.

FEB. 12

Theft. A ring valued at $30,000 was stolen from a home in the 3200 block of Galleria.

FEB. 15

Theft. A fire extinguisher was stolen from the 7100 block of Ohms Lane.

FEB. 22

Drugs. A Bloomington man, 18, was arrested after a traffic stop in the 7600 block of France Avenue for possession of marijuana and underage drinking and driving. A passenger, a 19-year-old Eagan man, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and underage consumption.

FEB. 17

Burglary. A safe was stolen from a business in the 100 block of Railway Street W.

MAPLE GROVE

FEB. 12

Animal complaint. A resident reported a wolf in the backyard of a home in the 9600 block of Harbor Lane. An officer viewed the video and determined it was a coyote instead.

FEB. 24

Theft. A purse was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the parking lot of a day care center in the 11000 block of W. Eagle Lake Drive.

MEDINA

FEB. 25

Assist public. Officers responded to a report in the 1600 block of Medina Road regarding a vehicle locked with two small children inside. An officer was able to unlock the vehicle.

FEB. 26

Suspicious activity. Someone reported seeing some vehicles drive onto private property in the 2900 block of Parkview Drive. The vehicles were located and the occupants said they were looking at stars. They were advised that it was private property.

MINNETRISTA

FEB. 15

Accident. Someone reported a vehicle stuck on the bicycle path near Trillium Lane. Officers located the vehicle and determined that the juvenile driver had been trying to reach the lake.

FEB. 24

Animal complaint. A resident on D'Chene Lane received a warning after their dog was reported running loose in the area.

RICHFIELD

FEB. 26

Drugs. Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 900 block of 77th Street E. A Richfield man, 24, was cited for possession of marijuana and a juvenile male was cited for underage drinking.

FEB. 27

Weapon. Officers responded to an apartment on the 7700 block of 4th Avenue S. on a report of a possible gun pointing incident. The parties were located and the victim did not wish to press charges.
