JULY 13

Check welfare: Officers responded to a home on the 6400 block of Bluestem Road N. regarding a 911 hang-up call. It was discovered a child was playing with the phone and everything was fine.

JULY 17

Check welfare: A child called 911 to say "Grammie" was being mean and hung up. The police department called the number back and spoke to the grandfather. He said that everything was fine and that the 6-year-old grandchild was upset for not getting their way.

EDINA

JULY 13

Drugs: A 49-year-old Edina man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on the 6000 block of Kellogg Avenue.

JULY 14

Underage consumption: Two 17-year-old girls were arrested for underage consumption of alcohol after officers responded to a complaint of a party on the 5200 block of Grove Street.

JULY 19

Burglary: A safe was stolen from a home on the 6200 block of Parkwood Road.

Theft: A 2000 Buick Park Avenue was stolen from the 4800 block of 59th Street.

JULY 12

Noise complaint: A resident on the 200 block of Courtland Street reported the sprinkler system across the street was running and the water was hitting the brick, causing too much noise.

Theft: A woman from the 100 block of 10th Avenue S. reported that her mother borrowed her car and had not returned it yet. She was advised it was a civil matter.

Drugs: A 22-year-old Minnetonka woman was arrested for possession of marijuana on Main Street and 15th Avenue.

Theft: Two wallets were stolen during a gathering at a home on the 15600 block of 40th Avenue.

JULY 15

Theft: A hammock was stolen from the backyard of a home on the 10300 block of 39th Avenue.

RICHFIELD

JULY 22

Disturbance: Officers responded to a home on the 7100 block of 14th Avenue S. regarding parties sleeping in a tent. A 36-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of violating an order for protection.

Drugs: A 24-year-old Minneapolis woman was arrested for possession of methamphetamine following a traffic stop at 76th Street W. and Pleasant Avenue S.

JULY 25

Assault: Officers responded to an apartment parking lot regarding a man bleeding. Two friends, a 49-year-old man and a 53-year-old man, were drinking and got into an argument which escalated to them allegedly assaulting one another. Both were cited for assault.

SHOREWOOD

JULY 9

Disturbance. Officers responded to Manor Park, 20600 Manor Road, regarding juveniles on the roof of the concession building. They were on the roof taking pictures of the moon. Officers told them to stay off the roof.
