Animal complaint: Police received a call about a raccoon in a back yard in the 8000 block of Erie Avenue.

Suspicious vehicle: Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in the area of Schutte Farm Road and Schutte Lane. It was an area resident who said they were sleeping in their vehicle because they were having difficulty with their parents.

MAY 5

Weapon: A man, 67, was cited for discharging a pellet gun without a permit in the 7000 block of McCauley Trail. He was shooting at a rabbit in his yard.

MAY 10

Burglary: A 2014 Range Rover valued at $75,000 was stolen from the 4600 block of Wooddale Avenue.

Drugs: An 18-year-old Edina man and an 18-year-old Hopkins man were arrested in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on the 4200 block of France Avenue S.

MAY 12

Suspicious activity: Officers responded to the 3700 block of County Road 92 N. regarding two unknown people and a vehicle parked in a driveway. Officers located the vehicle's occupants, who were picking wild asparagus in the ditch.

Suspicious activity: Someone reported a suspicious vehicle on the 4700 block of South Lake Sarah Drive. The reporting party stated that the vehicle was driving slowly around the neighborhood and that a passenger would jump out and run up to houses. Officers located the vehicle and it was discovered the occupants were delivering phone books.

MAY 11

Animal complaint: Officers responded to the 5800 block of Main Street regarding a pig running around. The pig was captured and put back in its fencing.

Assist animal: A woman from the 1600 block of Marsh Avenue called police to report that her puppy fell down a 15-foot floor heat vent. An officer was able to use a rope and retrieve the puppy from the vent.

Drunken driving: A 61-year-old Minneapolis man was arrested in drunken driving, driving after suspension, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after he was stopped on 64th Street E. and Portland Avenue S.

MAY 30

Theft: A 66-year-old Minneapolis woman was arrested in stealing merchandise from Menards, 7701 Nicollet Av. S.

JUNE 2

Drugs: Officers responded to an apartment on the 1300 block of 77th Street E. regarding the odor of marijuana. A 27-year-old Minneapolis man was cited for possession of marijuana.

MEDINA

MAY 4

Suspicious activity: Someone reported a suspicious van with the rear doors open and no one around at Arrowhead Drive and Hackamore Road. Officers located the driver in a wooded area. He told officers he was relocating beehives.
