Drugs: A 22-year-old Bloomington man was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop at York Avenue and 66th Street.

Underage consumption: A 20-year-old Prior Lake man was arrested for underage consumption of alcohol in the 5900 block of France Avenue S.

INDEPENDENCE

MAY 4

Assist: An officer picked up a man and gave him a ride home after he found him walking on County Road 11 and Lake Rebecca Road at 4 a.m. The man stated he was walking from Hamel to his house in Delano because his wife got mad at him for having too many drinks and told him to walk home.

Animal complaint: Someone reported four ducklings in the sewer in the 11000 block of Fountains Way. An officer rescued the ducklings with a net and returned them to their mother.

Animal complaint: A resident of the 3900 block of Linden Place reported that a goose laid eggs in her yard and she was concerned the goose would come after her children.

MAY 3

Underage consumption: Officers responded to a home in the 100 block of Hamel Road regarding a loud party. Five adults were cited for underage consumption and the resident, a 21-year-old man, was cited for violation of the social host ordinance.

Check welfare: Someone reported a woman walking on Hwy. 55, carrying bags. An officer located the woman, who said she was walking to Buffalo and stopped to look at an eagle.

RICHFIELD

MAY 21

Drugs: A 29-year-old Eagan man was cited for not wearing a seat belt and possession of marijuana following a traffic stop at 67th Street E. and Nicollet Avenue S.

MAY 23

False information: A 24-year-old Minneapolis man was cited for driving after revocation, and littering. The passenger, a 24-year-old Richfield woman, was arrested for providing a false name to police and outstanding warrants, following a traffic stop in the 6300 block of Lyndale Avenue S.

Assault: A 32-year-old Minneapolis man was arrested on suspicion of assault in the 7000 block of 5th Avenue S.

MAY 25

Robbery: Three males assaulted a juvenile and stole his cellphone and wallet in the 7000 block of 12th Avenue S.

SHOREWOOD

MAY 1

Fire: A community service officer extinguished a grass fire near the police department. It was determined that a squirrel made contact with the wire, causing it to spark and short the circuit, igniting the grass fire.

MAY 5

Theft: Tools and fishing equipment were stolen from a vehicle near Enchanted Point and Enchanted Lane. The vehicle was unlocked and a window had been left open.
