Suspicious vehicle: Officers approached a suspicious vehicle in the 19400 block of Schutte Road. The male driver told officers that he was there to watch the sunset and would be leaving.

APRIL 4
Drugs: A 29-year-old Edina man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance during a traffic stop at Hwy. 100 and Benton Avenue.
Weapon: A 24-year-old Bloomington man was arrested for being a felon in possession of a firearm and for possession of a controlled substance during a traffic stop at Hwy. 100 and 50th Street.
Curfew: A 17-year-old girl was cited for curfew violation during a traffic stop in the 5400 block of France Avenue S.
APRIL 5
Drunken driving: A 20-year-old Minnetonka man was arrested for drunken driving and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop at Vernon Avenue and Gleason Road.

Assault: An 18-year-old Minneapolis man was arrested for assault following a fight at Mister Car Wash, 7711 Normandale Road

Suspicious vehicle: Officers located a suspicious vehicle with a male and female occupant at Bayview Event Center, 687 Excelsior Blvd. According to police reports, as officers approached the vehicle, they could see the female was on top of the male's lap. The two were advised not to have sexual relations in public after it was confirmed that the physical contact was consensual.

APRIL 11
Road debris: Two reports were received that horse manure was all over the roadway at Hamel Road and Willow Drive. An officer checked and the manure had been cleaned up.
APRIL 12
Suspicious activity: Officers responded to Martha Burns Swimming School, 5145 County Road 101, regarding a suspicious vehicle. Officers approached the vehicle and the lights were on and it was running. The male driver told officers he was smoking a cigarette. He stated that his wife does not know he smokes and that he doesn't smoke around the children or at home. He wanted to have one more cigarette before going home.

APRIL 19
Robbery: A woman reported that she was outside of her apartment in the 7600 block of Penn Avenue S. and two men approached her. They struck her and took her purse.
Theft: Officers responded to Target, 6445 Richfield Pkwy. regarding an employee theft of more than $4,000. A 35-year-old Bloomington woman was arrested.
APRIL 22
Burglary: Officers responded to an alarm call at the Richfield Liquor Store, 6600 Cedar Av. S. A 51-year-old Richfield man was arrested for burglary after it was discovered that a window was broken and items were taken.
APRIL 26
Theft: Jewelry valued at more than $2,000 was stolen from a home on the 7500 block of 12th Avenue S.
APRIL 28
Disorderly conduct: A 24-year-old Richfield woman was cited for disorderly conduct and taken to a detox facility after officers responded to a disturbance at an apartment in the 7400 block of Oliver Avenue S.

Suspicious activity: A resident in the 4800 block of Rustic Way reported that a row of trees on her property had been cut in half.
