Drunken driving: A 64-year-old Edina man was arrested for drunken driving at France Avenue and 65th Street.

JAN. 17

Drugs: A 17-year-old girl was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and underage possession of alcohol following a traffic stop in the 4100 block of France Avenue S.

JAN. 30

Drugs: A 19-year-old Hopkins man was cited for possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle after he was stopped on Hwy. 7 and Mill Street.

JAN. 31

Theft: A woman had $40 taken from her purse after she left it in a room at Golden Living Center, 515 Division St.

Assist public: A woman from the 100 block of 6th Avenue N. called police to report a backed-up drain. She was advised to call a plumber.

Assist public: A woman from the 1000 block of 1st Street S. called police because she was unable to get hold of a friend. She ended up making contact with her friend and did not need assistance.

Animal complaint: Someone called police to report a raccoon was hissing at people in the 6300 block of Quinwood Lane. The raccoon was captured and released into a wooded area.

JAN. 25

Drunken driving: A Minnetrista woman was arrested for drunken driving and child endangerment at County Roads 6 and 83 after she was stopped for failing to dim her headlights. Her three grandchildren, ages 2, 3 and 7, were in the vehicle. The children were released to the custody of their father.

Drugs: A 30-year-old Woodbury man was arrested for drunken driving and felony drug possession after he was stopped for traffic offenses at 70th Street W. and Nicollet Avenue S. The passenger, an 18-year-old Maplewood woman, was arrested for possession of heroin and a hypodermic needle.

FEB. 1

Underage consumption: Officers responded to an apartment in the 1300 block of 78th Street E. regarding a noise complaint. A 20-year-old Hopkins woman was arrested for underage consumption of alcohol.

Drugs: A 20-year-old Minneapolis man was cited for possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle after he was stopped for an inoperable brake light at 65th Street W. and Penn Avenue S.

TONKA BAY

JAN. 31

Drugs: A 16-year-old Minnetonka girl was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and a 15-year-old Eden Prairie girl and a 17-year-old Tonka Bay girl were cited for underage consumption after they were stopped for an inoperable brake light in the 300 block of Lakeview Avenue.
