WEEK OF NOV. 5

Fire: The Chaska Fire Department extinguished a fire on the side of a home on Stephen Lane that was likely started by bonfire ashes placed in a plastic garbage can.

Disorderly conduct: Officers responded to a home regarding a possible domestic. A man was cited for disorderly conduct after he threw his ex-girlfriend's clothes out of the house.

EDINA

NOV. 1

Assault: A 42-year-old Edina man was arrested on suspicion of assault, drunken driving and violating an order for protection on Lincoln Circle.

Drugs: Three 16-year-old boys and a 17-year boy were arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, having an open bottle and juvenile consumption of alcohol following a traffic stop at South Knoll Drive and Blake Road.

NOV. 3

Theft: Four 18-year-old men and a 19-year-old man, all from Minneapolis, were arrested on suspicion of possession of stolen property and fleeing police in the 4600 block of Casco Avenue.

Robbery: An unknown person took $213 from the cash register at Pilgrim Cleaners, 5836 Lincoln Drive.

Theft: A canoe was stolen from the yard of a home in the 6200 block of Sandpiper Court.

HOPKINS

NOV. 4

Theft: A bag of potato chips was stolen from Driskill's Foods, 25 11th Av. S.

INDEPENDENCE

NOV. 12

Assist animal: Someone called police to report that a deer was struggling on the ice at Lake Independence near the 2300 block of Budd Street. The deer was covered by and surrounded by ice. Hennepin County Water Patrol officers were able to break up the ice with their boat and the deer made it to shore safely.

NOV. 1

Theft: A purse was stolen from a vehicle in the 7800 block of Vinewood Lane.

NOV. 3

Theft: Plumbing tools were stolen from a home under construction in the 18200 block of 72nd Place.

PLYMOUTH

NOV. 6

Weapons: Officers responded to 48th Avenue regarding a shooting. An 18-year-old man accidentally shot himself in the leg with a pistol. He was charged with possession of a firearm without a permit and reckless discharge of a firearm.

RICHFIELD

NOV. 19

Theft: A GPS unit was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 7600 block of Knox Avenue S.

NOV. 20

Theft: An 18-year-old Minneapolis woman and a 20-year-old Robbinsdale man were cited for theft after they allegedly stole cigarettes from SuperAmerica, 7720 Nicollet Av. S.

WATERTOWN

NOV. 4

Animal complaint: A resident from a home in the 900 block of Wood Hill Circle called to complain that the neighbor's chickens were in his yard.

NOV. 5

Theft: Tools were stolen from a vehicle on the 600 block of White Street SW.
