Animal complaint. Someone called police asking for assistance to get ducks out of a pool at their home on the 1100 block of Hess Farm Road.

Theft. Glasses and a sweater, valued at $1,145, were stolen from a vehicle on the 6200 block of Colonial Way.

JULY 15

Theft. Cellphones and sunglasses were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 6600 block of Parkwood Road.

JULY 16

Assault. A Richfield man, 29, was arrested on suspicion of assault on the 4900 block of Hibiscus Avenue.

Theft. A router, linens and cigars were stolen from a garage on the 4600 block of Casco Avenue.

JULY 20

Drunken driving. A Minnetonka woman, 34, was arrested for drunken driving after she was stopped at 2nd Avenue and Mill Street. Officers found prescription medication not belonging to her, and she was also charged with felony possession of a controlled substance.

JULY 23

Theft. According to police reports, a man hired a prostitute and she stole $200 from his wallet.

Lost. Someone reported losing a parrot on the 500 block of Cambridge Street.

Animal complaint. A resident from the 5600 block of Lake Sarah Heights Drive reported a pelican with goose wire wrapped around it. An officer removed the wire. The pelican swam off and appeared to be fine.

JUNE 26

Animal complaint. A loose cow was reported on Chippewa Road and Mohawk Drive. An officer located the cow, but she ran into a field.

JULY 1

Theft. A 51-year-old Corcoran man was cited for theft after he allegedly stole lumber from a home under construction on the 4100 block of Prairie View Drive. The lumber was recovered.

Indecent exposure. Officers advised three male skinny-dippers that the access to Little Long Lake was closed.

JULY 4

Drunken driving. A man was arrested for drunken driving after he was stopped for speeding on County Road 110W. His 12-year-old son was in the vehicle at the time of the arrest.

Underage drinking. Eight people were cited for underage alcohol consumption following a complaint of a party and fireworks going off on the 500 block of Quantico Lane.

Drunken driving. A 17-year-old boy was cited for underage drinking and a 17-year-old girl was cited for underage consumption following a traffic stop on Highway 5 and County Road 11 S.

Property damage. Someone put pudding on the door of a home on the 1200 block of Night Trail.
