Drugs: An 18-year-old man was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia on the 600 block of SouthWest Village Drive.

Alcohol violation: A 17-year-old boy was arrested for underage possession of alcohol on the 5400 block of Valley Lane.

Theft: A wallet was stolen from a shopper at Byerly’s, 3875 Gallagher Dr.

Assault: A 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault on the 4000 block of 62nd Street.

Drunken driving: A 25-year-old Excelsior man was arrested for drunken driving after his vehicle was found in a ditch along 3rd Avenue.

Accident: A vehicle was found in a ditch along Hwy. 7 near Oakland Street. The driver, a Minnetonka man, said he turned onto a road that was actually a snowmobile trail.


JAN. 30

Underage consumption: Two men, ages 19 and 20, were cited for underage consumption of alcohol after one of them was found unconscious in the sauna of an apartment complex on the 3300 block of Hwy. 169.

Theft: A snowmobile and trailer were stolen from a home on the 1600 block of W. Medicine Lake Drive.

FEB. 5

Burglary: Rims and tires were stolen from a vehicle parked in an underground garage on the 14600 block of 34th Avenue N.


FEB. 20

Check welfare: Officers responded to a home on the 6600 block of Clinton Ave­nue regarding an open line 911 call. It was discovered that the residents were shooting off fireworks in the living room of the house. A 29-year-old Richfield man was cited for a disorderly house because of the long history of calls to the home.

Burglary: A handgun and ammunition were stolen from a home on the 7600 block of 2nd Avenue S.

Burglary: Office equipment was stolen from Mother Duck Learning Center, 6301 Penn Av. S.

Drugs: A 29-year-old Minneapolis woman was arrested for a warrant and cited for possession of drug paraphernalia after officers responded to a report of an intoxicated female on the 7500 block of Grand Avenue S.

FEB. 22

Drugs: A 22-year-old Richfield man was cited for possession of marijuana after he was observed walking in the middle of the street at 12th Avenue S. and 77th Street E.

FEB. 24

Burglary: A cash drawer was stolen from Aida restaurant, 2208 W. 66th St. Someone smashed through a door to gain access to the building.


FEB. 20

Drugs: A 43-year-old New Germany man was arrested for possession of methamphetamine after he was observed sleeping in a Bobcat skidloader on Island View Road.


FEB. 3

Driving violation: A juvenile male was cited for driving without a license and no proof of insurance after he hit a snowbank while driving on Oak Avenue and Windmill Creek S.
