Assist the public. Someone reported an open door at Birdstone Beads, 351 2nd St. No employees were in the business. It was discovered that the 54-year-old female owner left for lunch and forgot to lock the door.

Animal complaint. Someone called police for assistance in removing a squirrel from the ductwork of a house on the 100 block of Maple Street. Plunkett's Pest Control arrived and removed the squirrel.

Theft. A rock was thrown through the window of a vehicle and a carton of cigarettes were stolen from inside on the 14700 block of 80th Avenue.

Animal complaint. A deer was reported swimming in the water near the Narrows Bridge. Officers arrived and found the deer out of the water and on the rocks under the bridge.
