Drugs. A 26-year-old Eden Prairie man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance following a traffic stop in the 6700 block of Hwy. 100.

Drugs. Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 6900 block of Paiute Drive and arrested a 21-year-old Edina man for possession of a controlled substance.

AUG. 17

Theft. A bag of golf clubs was stolen from a vehicle in the 5000 block of Bruce Avenue.

GREENWOOD

AUG. 20

Drunken driving. A 20-year-old Victoria woman was arrested for drunken driving following a traffic stop for an equipment violation near Excelsior Boulevard and Christmas Lake Road.

INDEPENDENCE

AUG. 18

Driving violation. Officers stopped a vehicle for going 105 miles per hour in a 55-mph zone in the 2100 block of County Road 92. The 18-year-old male driver said he had just gotten the vehicle and was showing off to his friends, who were in the vehicle with him. He was cited for speeding.

MAPLE GROVE

AUG. 7

Theft. Patio furniture was stolen from a townhouse in the 17500 block of 96th Avenue.

Theft. A computer was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 13300 block of Maple Knoll Way.

MEDINA

AUG. 16

Safety check. Officers responded to a report of juveniles on the roof of a house in the 3100 block of Magnolia Drive. They spoke to the nanny and two juveniles about the dangers of going on the roof, and the nanny said they would speak to their parents.

AUG. 18

Found. A resident in the 3300 block of Butternut Drive reported finding a blue and white parakeet.

Drugs. A 23-year-old woman was cited for possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle after she was stopped for driving violations on Hwy. 7.

AUG. 18

Animal complaint. An officer helped corral three miniature horses at County Roads 110 and 26.

PLYMOUTH

AUG. 19

Theft. A hunting bow was stolen from a garage in the 3100 block of Harbor Lane. There were no signs of forced entry.

Theft. Jewelry valued at $5,000 was stolen from a home in the 3300 block of Highway 169. There were no signs of forced entry.

AUG. 21

Theft. A trailer was stolen from a parking lot in the 9900 block of 13th Avenue.

RICHFIELD

AUG. 9

Drugs. A 42-year-old Richfield man was cited for possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle and driving after revocation following a traffic stop at Portland Avenue S. and E. 64th Street.

AUG. 15

Assault. Officers responded to a report of a man hitting people with brass knuckles in the 7700 block of Bloomington Avenue S. They arrested a 22-year-old Richfield man for assault.

AUG. 17

Obstruction. Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated person in the 7100 block of Chicago Avenue S. After fighting with a 30-year-old St. Paul woman, they arrested her for obstructing the legal process, property damage and disorderly conduct.

Theft. A moped was stolen from a garage in the 7400 block of 18th Avenue S.
