Animal complaint. Someone reported that a raccoon was acting strange on Lake Susan Hills Drive and Powers Boulevard.

SEPT. 3

Drugs. A 16-year-old boy was arrested for possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle, giving a false name to police, underage consumption of alcohol and open container at Hwys. 62 and 169 following a traffic stop.

Theft. A 19-year-old man was arrested for theft, possession of a controlled substance, underage drinking and driving, and driving after suspension following a traffic stop on the 5200 block of Eden Avenue.

Drunken driving. An 18-year-old Edina man was arrested for underage drinking and driving following a traffic stop on the 5800 block of Hwy. 100.

Drugs. A 30-year-old Richfield woman was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and drunken driving following a traffic stop on the 5400 block of Hwy. 100.

SEPT. 7

Theft. A 2017 Cadillac XT5, valued at $50,000, was stolen from the 6800 block of York Avenue S.

SEPT. 12

Theft. A scooter was stolen from the front porch of a home on Grove Street.

AUG. 29

Animal complaint. Someone reported a turtle in the road at County Road 101 and Evergreen Road. An officer was unable to locate the turtle.

SEPT. 3

Suspicious activity. An officer located a vehicle parked in Holy Name Park after hours. Contact was made with a female who was down by a dock. She said she was looking for the Northern Lights. She was advised of the park hours.

SEPT. 7

Assist public. Officers responded to the 2300 block of Cox Trail regarding a locked vehicle with a child inside. An officer was able to unlock the vehicle.

SEPT. 10

Fire. Officers responded to a home on the 200 block of Cherry Hill Trail regarding a fire. An individual was watching her siblings and they decided to make s'mores in the oven. The s'mores started smoking and set off the fire alarm. There was no fire.

Shots heard. Someone reported hearing shots on the 4500 block of Pioneer Trail. The caller reported the noise sounded like dynamite. It was discovered fireworks had just been set off at Loretto Funfest.

SEPT. 16

Underage consumption. Fifteen juveniles were cited for underage consumption of alcohol at a home on Pine Lane.

Drugs. A 23-year-old Minnetrista man was cited for possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle following a traffic stop on County Road 92.

PLYMOUTH

SEPT. 6

Theft. A trailer and lawn maintenance equipment, valued at $10,000, was reported stolen from a driveway on the 5600 block of Zanzibar Lane.

RICHFIELD

SEPT. 9

Burglary. A 20-year-old Minneapolis man was arrested for burglary on 7200 block of 3rd Avenue S., following a report of disturbance.

WACONIA

SEPT. 12

Drugs. A 19-year-old Waconia man was cited for possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle and driving with a headlight out following a traffic stop at Oak Avenue and Oriole Drive.
