Underage consumption. Officers responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 7700 block of Frontier Trail. A 20-year-old Chanhassen man was cited for underage consumption.

CORCORAN

SEPT. 22

Missing person. Officers responded to a report of a 12-year-old girl who had been missing for nearly two hours in the 6300 block of Pioneer Trail. Five agencies assisted in the search before the girl was found an hour later walking home from a cornfield. She was fine and did not need medical attention.

EDINA

SEPT. 19

Assault. A 27-year-old Edina man was arrested for assault in the 7000 block of Sally Lane.

SEPT. 21

Assault. A 61-year-old Excelsior woman was arrested for assault in the 6500 block of France Avenue S.

SEPT. 24

Drugs. A 19-year-old Edina woman was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and drunken driving following a traffic stop in the 7000 block of Sally Lane.

SEPT. 26

Drugs. An 18-year-old Richfield woman was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop at Hwy. 62 and Tracy Avenue.

SEPT. 29

Theft. A 16-year-old girl was arrested for stealing cosmetics valued at $463 from Macy's, Southdale Center.

MAPLE GROVE

SEPT. 15

Suspicious activity. Someone from the 9300 block of Wedgewood Lane reported that a vehicle had pulled into a driveway, backed out and then parked on the street with its lights on. Officers located a pizza delivery vehicle that had stalled and was waiting for a tow.

SEPT. 18

Suspicious person. Officers responded to a report of someone ringing the doorbell and trying to get into a residence in the 14000 block of 93rd Place. They found an intoxicated person who was at the wrong home and directed the person to the correct home.

MEDINA

SEPT. 26

Animal complaint. Officers responded to a report of a cat stuck in a storm drain in the 4200 block of Shorewood Trail. They were able to lift the drain gate to enable the owner to get the cat.

MINNETRISTA

SEPT. 20

Suspicious vehicle. Officers observed a suspicious vehicle with occupants on Highland Road. The occupants said that they were stargazing.

SEPT. 24

Disorderly conduct. A resident on Tower Street was cited for disorderly conduct after numerous noise complaints.

SEPT. 27

Suspicious activity. A woman from the 6600 block of Walnut Drive reported hearing something that sounded like a person in agony. Officers were unable to locate anyone in trouble but did hear coyotes howling.

SEPT. 30

Fire. A fire alarm at a home on Yellowstone Trail was found to have been set off by an insect in the smoke detector.

SEPT. 23

Drugs. Officers responded to a report of an unwanted guest at a home in the 6200 block of Pleasant Avenue S. A juvenile male was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

VICTORIA

SEPT. 25

Underage consumption. Two juvenile females were cited for underage consumption in the 1600 block of Fox Hunt Way.
