SEPT. 23

Drunken driving. A 26-year-old Richfield man was arrested for drunken driving and possession of a controlled substance following a traffic stop in the 6800 block of York Avenue.

LAKETOWN TOWNSHIP

SEPT. 23

Drugs. An 18-year-old Chaska man was cited for possession of marijuana, following too close behind a vehicle and having no proof of insurance, after he was involved in an accident at County Road 10 E. and County Road 11.

MAPLE GROVE

Check welfare. Officers responded to a report of someone yelling for help inside a home in the 13000 block of Timber Crest Drive. They discovered that a child was playing video games.

SEPT. 12

Animal complaint. An officer responded to a report of a snapping turtle in a resident's yard in the 12500 block of 73rd Avenue. The officer took the turtle to a nearby park.

SEPT. 17

Child found. Officers responded to a report of a young child riding a tricycle without supervision at 86th Avenue and Jonquil Lane. An officer reunited the child with a parent.

Animal complaint. Officers responded to a report of a raccoon that had been in a resident's garage for three days in the 13800 block of 85th Place. They caught the raccoon and took it to a nearby park.

SEPT. 27

Drunken driving. Officers responded to a report of an apparently impaired woman waiting to pick up her child in the 5000 block of Pioneer Creek Drive. A 37-year-old Minnetrista woman was arrested for drunken driving.

PLYMOUTH

Drugs. A 17-year-old boy was cited for possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle in the 5600 block of Juneau Lane.

RICHFIELD

SEPT. 14

Theft. A 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer was stolen from the driveway of a home in the 7000 block of 5th Avenue S.

SEPT. 21

Theft. Officers stopped a moped in the 7600 block of Cedar Avenue S. and found it was stolen out. They arrested the driver, a 27-year-old Minneapolis man, for possession of stolen property.

WATERTOWN

SEPT. 22

Underage consumption. A 17-year-old Watertown boy was cited for underage drinking and driving, and underage alcohol consumption, following a traffic stop at Franklin Avenue NW. and Territorial Street W.
