WEEK OF MAY 16

Suspicious person. Officers responded to a report of a man wearing a bullet-resistant vest outside of a business. They found the man and determined he was wearing not a bullet-resistant vest, but an exercise vest loaded with weights.

MAY 27

Robbery. Officers responded to a report of a robbery at Klein Bank, 301 N. Chestnut St. The suspect, who claimed to have a firearm and explosives, fled on foot and area schools were placed on a precautionary lock down. Later that night two men were arrested, and a third party is expected to be charged.

EDINA

MAY 2

Drugs. Officers responded to a report of an alarm in the 6200 block of Interlachen Boulevard. A 43-year-old Wisconsin man was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

MAY 6

Theft. A 2003 Jeep Liberty valued at $6,000 was stolen from the 3900 block of W. 49 1/2 Street.

MAY 8

Burglary. Appliances valued at $1,700 were stolen from a home in the 6200 block of Ewing Avenue S.

EXCELSIOR

MAY 5

Suspicious vehicle. Officers responded to a report of a van driving in circles with a door open on Center Street. The driver told them that it was an attempt to circulate air in the vehicle. The driver was advised that it was not safe and not to do it again.

MAY 6

Disturbance. Two men operating drones were reported at 2nd and Water streets. Officers found the men, who were shooting a film for a special event.

MAPLE GROVE

MAY 2

Medical. Officers responded to a report of a child that had swallowed a quarter in the 10000 block of Orleans Lane. Paramedics arrived to tend to the child, who appeared OK.

MAY 6

Suspicious activity. Officers responded a report of people wearing dark clothes and walking through yards in the 13000 block of 88th Place. They made contact with the individuals, who said they were playing Nerf wars and left the area after officers advised them of the complaint.

MAY 7

Suspicious activities. Officers responded to a report of two juveniles wearing ghillie suits in the 6000 block of Polaris Lane. They were unable to find them, but thought that they could have been playing Nerf wars.

RICHFIELD

MAY 11

Theft. Officers located a stolen vehicle from Wisconsin in the parking lot of Motel 6, 7640 Cedar Av. S. A 55-year-old woman and a 42-year-old Minneapolis man were arrested for possession of stolen property, and a 47-year-old Plymouth man was arrested on suspicion of tampering with a motor vehicle.

Burglary. Miscellaneous items were stolen from a home, and eggs thrown around the house, in the 7300 block of Lyndale Avenue S.

Prostitution. Officers responded to a report of prostitution at Candlewood Suites, 351 W. 77th St. W. A Wisconsin woman, 25, was cited for prostitution.

MAY 12

Drugs. A 30-year-old Minneapolis woman was arrested for possession of a methamphetamine following a traffic stop at E. 78th Street and Portland Avenue S. A 32-year-old Bloomington woman in the car also was arrested for several felony warrants.

Drugs. Officers conducted a traffic stop for several registration violations at 12th Avenue S. and American Boulevard E., and found 14 grams of marijuana in the vehicle. The driver, a 47-year-old Minneapolis man, was cited for driving after revocation and possession of a controlled substance. A 46-year-old Minneapolis woman also in the vehicle was cited for possession of a controlled substance.

ST. Bonifacius

MAY 12

Medical. A 15-month-old girl fell 10 feet onto a cement floor at her home. She was airlifted to the hospital.
