CHANHASSEN

MAY 8

Driving violation. A 40-year-old Eden Prairie man was cited for using a wireless communication device while driving, following a traffic stop at Hwy. 5 and Powers Boulevard.

CHASKA

MAY 5

Drugs. An 18-year-old Hopkins man was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop at Creek Road and County Road 61.

EDINA

MAY 4

Disorderly conduct. A 19-year-old Edina man and a 19-year-old Bloomington man were arrested for disorderly conduct in the 6400 block of Xerxes Avenue S.

MAY 5

Drugs. A 45-year-old Edina man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and drunken driving following a traffic stop in the 6000 block of Vernon Avenue S.

EXCELSIOR

MAY 9

Disorderly conduct. Officers responded to multiple reports of a suspicious person in the 400 block of Water Street. They arrested a 36-year-old St. Bonifacius man for disorderly conduct.

INDEPENDENCE

MAY 7

Suspicious activity. Officers responded to a report of a suspicious man on foot near County Road 11 and County Line Road. The caller said the man was carrying something that looked like a fishing pole or a rifle. Officers found the 67-year-old St. Michael man sitting on a bench at the Delano Gun Club and carrying an umbrella. He told officers that he was "spreading the word of God."

MAPLE GROVE

APRIL 29

Disturbance. An officer responded to a report of a disturbance at a home in the 7400 block of Dallas Lane. The officer found two males playing a video game and that no assistance was needed.

MAY 1

Theft. A lawn mower was stolen from the 13400 block of 87th Way. The lawn mower had been sitting outside the garage.

MAY 4

Animal complaint. An officer responded to a report of a muskrat stuck in the window well of a home in the 18500 block of 86th Place. The officer caught the muskrat and released it at a nearby wetland.

MINNETRISTA

MAY 6

Noise complaint. Officers responded to a report of a loud party with music and fireworks along West Branch Road. A 17-year-old girl, an 18-year-old woman, seven 18-year-old men and a 19-year-old man were cited for underage consumption of alcohol. A 16-year-old boy also was cited for possession of marijuana and an electronic cigarette.

PLYMOUTH

MAY 9

Theft. A 50-year-old Coon Rapids man was arrested for receiving stolen property after he was found sleeping in a stolen vehicle in the 10700 block of Rockford Road.

RICHFIELD

MAY 9

Drunken driving. A 47-year-old Richfield man was arrested for drunken driving and child endangerment in the 7700 block of Bloomington Avenue S.

WACONIA

MAY 6

Fire. A 17-year-old Delano boy was cited for setting an illegal fire on park property at Lake Street W. and County Road 10.

WATERTOWN

MAY 4

Drugs. A 14-year-old boy was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 1000 block of Hwy. 25 NW.
