Fire. Officers responded to a report of a fire in the 6600 block of Pioneer Trail. The homeowner had been burning corn husks and the wind carried the fire to the boat, where it spread to personal watercraft and an icehouse. Loretto firefighters extinguished the flames.

MAY 28

Check welfare. An officer responded to a report of a 4-year-old boy riding a bike alone in the 19700 block of County Road 10. The officer took the boy back to his home and spoke with his parents. The boy's mother said she thought he was still in bed sleeping.

JUNE 2

Check welfare. Officers responded to a report of a 911 hang-up call at a home in the 6300 block of Rolling Hills Road. As they approached the home they could hear yelling from inside. They met the homeowners and found that their 13-year-old son had called 911 because he was upset his parents had taken away his cellphone.

EDINA

JUNE 1

Underage consumption. A 15-year-old girl and a 19-year-old Brooklyn Center man were arrested for underage consumption in the 5900 block of Olinger Boulevard.

MAY 23

Child found. An officer responded to a report of a small child riding a bike alone. A relative at the scene was told of the importance of close supervision.

MAY 25

Animal complaint. An officer responded to a report of a fox stuck in a fence at a home in the 7500 block of Mariner Drive. The officer was able to free the fox without injury to the animal.

MAY 26

Animal complaint. An officer responded to a report of ducklings trapped in a sewer drain in the 13700 block of 74th Avenue. The officer and others were able to rescue the ducklings, eight in all, and return them to their mother.

MEDINA

MAY 28

Disturbance. An officer responded to a report of an inappropriate item visible from the road in a yard in the 100 block of Hamel Road. A neighbor asked that police remove the item, an adult blowup doll, from the yard. The homeowner told police that it must have been a prank committed by someone else.

JUNE 1

Animal complaint. A resident on Painter Road reported that someone was shooting carp and leaving them on his property.

PLYMOUTH

MAY 28

Theft. A 2017 Hyundai Tucson was stolen from a driveway in the 12800 block of 47th Avenue. The keys had been left inside the vehicle.

MAY 30

Theft. A bird house was stolen from the front yard of a home in the 2000 block of Oakview Lane.

RICHFIELD

MAY 31

Drugs. A 30-year-old Burnsville woman was arrested for possession of cocaine at Motel 6, 7640 Cedar Av. S.

JUNE 4

Terroristic threats. Officers responded to a report of a fight at Dupont Avenue and Mildred Drive. They arrested a 23-year-old Richfield man for making terroristic threats and obstructing the legal process after he threatened numerous people with a replica handgun.

Underage consumption. A 13-year-old boy was cited for underage consumption in the 1500 block of Stieger Lake Lane.
