MAY 30

Check welfare. Officers responded to a request to check the welfare of an employee at a business in the 9500 block of Garfield Avenue S. The caller had gone to pick up his girlfriend but saw a man he didn't know inside the business, and his girlfriend was not answering her phone. Officers determined that the employees were being trained in first aid and had their phones turned off.

CHANHASSEN

MAY 22

Tobacco violation. A 15-year-old Chaska girl was cited for possession of an electronic cigarette at Chanhassen High School, 2200 Lyman Blvd.

EDINA

MAY 21

Drugs. A 19-year-old Burnsville woman was arrested for speeding and possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and a 26-year-old Hugo man was arrested for possession of marijuana, following a traffic stop at Hwys. 100 and 62.

Indecent exposure. A 19-year-old Lakeville woman was arrested for indecent exposure and underage consumption of alcohol, and a 22-year-old Bloomington man was arrested for indecent exposure, in the 5400 block of York Avenue.

INDEPENDENCE

MAY 13

Assist public. Officers responded to a report of a 6-year-old boy stuck in a tree in the 5000 block of Independence Street. Maple Plain firefighters assisted in rescuing the child, who was not injured.

MAPLE GROVE

MAY 14

Animal complaint. An officer responded to a report of a skulk of foxes living under a shed in the 6400 block of Evergreen Lane. The homeowner was advised to contact a wildlife removal company.

MEDINA

MAY 23

Suspicious activity. An officer responded to a report of a loud noise that sounded like a door closing, at a home in the 2800 block of Hunter Drive. The noise turned out to be the rooftop air conditioning unit switching on.

MAY 25

Suspicious activity. An officer responded to a report of an individual walking around with a flashlight in the 600 block of Shawnee Woods Road. The officer located a man who said he had been looking for his lost dog and found it under a trailer.

MAY 27

Drunken driving. A 17-year-old Greenfield boy was arrested for drunken driving, and his passenger, a 15-year-old Rockford girl, was cited for underage consumption of alcohol, following a traffic stop at Hwy. 55 and Arrowhead Drive.

PLYMOUTH

MAY 25

Disorderly conduct. Officers responded to a report of a burglary in progress in the 6000 block of Shenandoah Lane. They arrested a 39-year-old Plymouth woman for disorderly conduct.

SHOREWOOD

MAY 27

Drunken driving. Officers chased a motorcyclist near Old Market Road and arrested the 28-year-old Eden Prairie man for drunken driving and fleeing police.

TONKA BAY

Noise complaint. Officers responded to a report of a loud party on Pleasant Avenue. They arrested a 25-year-old St. Paul woman on a warrant.
