Theft. A 2015 Subaru Forester valued at $28,000 was stolen from the 5700 block of Abbott Avenue S. The keys were left in the vehicle and it was unlocked.

NOV. 8

Drugs. A 31-year-old Edina man was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop in the 6400 block of Xerxes Avenue S.

EXCELSIOR

NOV. 10

Suspicious activity. A person was reported using a stick to get into a car on School Avenue. Police located the suspect, who said he owned the vehicle and had locked his keys inside.

NOV. 11

Arson. Officers responded to a report of a vehicle fire in the 800 block of 3rd Avenue, and arrested a 26-year-old Excelsior man for arson.

LORETTO

NOV. 10

Theft. Officers responded to a report of a cellphone theft at a home in the 100 block of Albert Street. They found a note on the front door from a neighbor, stating that the phone and a wallet had been found on the road. The owner realized that it must have fallen off the hood of his car earlier that day when he left the house.

MEDINA

NOV. 10

Missing children. Officers responded to a report of two missing children at Fields of Medina Park. A grandmother indicated that while at the park with three boys, her 3- and 4-year-old grandsons had disappeared after she turned her back. Police walked back to the home to look for the boys and found the sliding glass door open. Officers located the boys playing in an upstairs bedroom, where they said they were hiding from their grandma.

MINNETRISTA

NOV. 18

Drugs. Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle with four occupants on Lily Lane. A 16-year-old boy was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and violation of a provisional license.

NOV. 19

Check welfare. Officers located a 27-year-old woman walking shortly after midnight along County Road 19. An acquaintance had left her on the road. Officers gave her a ride home.

RICHFIELD

NOV. 9

Drunken driving. Officers responded to a report of an unresponsive man in the driver's seat of a vehicle in the 6300 block of Lyndale Avenue S. A 27-year-old Richfield man was arrested for drunken driving.

Drugs. A 33-year-old Plymouth man was arrested for possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle following a traffic stop at 76th Street E. and Chicago Avenue S.

Arson. A portable toilet was set on fire on Covington Road.

TONKA BAY

NOV. 11

Fraud. A resident on Lakeview Avenue reported being a victim of a theft by swindle. She had received a call from a person claiming to be a police officer and was told she needed to buy gift cards to satisfy restitution for a family member involved in an accident. Total loss was $4,000.

WACONIA

NOV. 6

Underage consumption. A 20-year-old man was cited for underage consumption in the 100 block of Olive Street S.
