Drugs. Two Eden Prairie men, ages 20 and 19, were cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop at Century Boulevard and Hwy. 5. The 19-year-old driver also was cited for speeding.

Driving violation. A 16-year-old boy was cited for reckless driving and violation of a provisional license, following a traffic stop at Hwy. 41 and Lake Lucy Road.

EDINA

NOV. 6

Burglary. Jewelry was stolen from a home in the 5800 block of Ewing Avenue S.

EXCELSIOR

NOV. 11

Drugs. A 25-year-old Excelsior man was cited for possession of marijuana at Water and George streets.

INDEPENDENCE

NOV. 13

Trespassing. Officers responded to a report of a man with a long gun and wearing all black clothing, who was walking through their property and also possibly riding a bicycle, in the 100 block of County Road 110. Officers located the man, who fled from them on foot. They found him again, this time riding a bicycle through a cornfield, and arrested him for fleeing an officer on foot, obstructing the legal process, hunting without a license and trespassing. The 60-year-old Minnetrista man was hunting pheasants on the property without permission from the land owner.

MAPLE GROVE

NOV. 10

Animal complaint. An officer responded to a report of a dog stuck in a pond in the 18800 block of 97th Place. The officer used a catch pole to reach the dog and bring it to shore. It was taken to a vet.

MEDINA

NOV. 9

Assist public. Officers responded to a report of two small children locked inside a vehicle in the 3300 block of Butternut Drive. One of the children had hit the lock button. Officers unlocked the vehicle and released the children.

NOV. 11

Suspicious activity. Officers responded to a report of someone on the roof of a home in the 1500 block of County Road 24. They found that the person on the roof was an architect who had been recently hired for a remodeling project. The homeowner had not been expecting the architect on a Saturday.

PLYMOUTH

NOV. 15

Robbery. Officers responded to a report of a robbery at a home in the 1900 block of Shenandoah Court. Two unknown suspects, armed with a gun, entered the residence and stole a safe.

RICHFIELD

NOV. 19

Drugs. Officers responded to a report of a male sniffing an air duster in the 7500 block of Lyndale Avenue S. They located the 25-year-old Minneapolis man, found him to have marijuana and cited him for possession of marijuana.

TONKA BAY

NOV. 12

Drunken driving. A 50-year-old Mound woman was arrested for drunken driving after she was stopped for an equipment violation near Manitou Road and Woodpecker Ridge Road.

VICTORIA

NOV. 15

Drugs. A 16-year-old Victoria girl was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at Steiger Lake.
