JULY 1

Drugs. A 19-year-old man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, marijuana and drug paraphernalia; and drunken driving, at Hwy. 5 and Century Boulevard.

JULY 3

Underage consumption. A 19-year-old woman and two 20-year-old women were cited for underage consumption in the 7700 block of Market Boulevard.

CORCORAN

JULY 3

Check welfare. Officers checked on the welfare of two children at a home in the 10400 block of County Road 19, after a motorist reported a toddler in the road. The motorist stopped and brought the children up to the house. An officer arrived and was able to wake up their mother, who had been sleeping and didn't realize her husband had left for work.

EXCELSIOR

JULY 4

Drunken driving. An 18-year-old Deephaven man was arrested for underage drinking and driving after he was stopped for speeding near Highway 7 and Elm Place. Two 17-year-old female passengers from Long Lake and Deephaven were cited for underage consumption.

INDEPENDENCE

JULY 1

Medical. A resident from Shady Beach Circle reported that her husband was unconscious in the bedroom. Officers arrived and discovered that the husband was fine; he said he was ignoring his wife because she was intoxicated and wanted to argue with him, and he didn't want to engage her. Both were advised to leave each other alone for the night.

JULY 2

Missing person. Officers responded to a report of a missing 5-year-old girl, last seen on a dock in a life vest, in the 4500 block of Shady Beach Circle. She was found under a camper on the property and was fine. She had been playing hide and seek.

MAPLE PLAIN

JULY 6

Suspicious activity. An unoccupied vehicle was parked for an extended period, with its lights on, at the Discovery Center, 5050 Independence St. Officers contacted the registered owner, who was out of town. They determined that the owner's 16-year-old son, of Medina, had driven the vehicle to meet his 16-year-old girlfriend at her home in Maple Plain. The girl's parents were contacted and made aware of the situation.

MEDINA

JUNE 29

Suspicious vehicle. An officer spotted a vehicle in Maple Park after hours, with its parking lights on, at Maple Street and County Road 19. As the officer approached vehicle, he observed two people in the back seat of the vehicle and waited for a few minutes before approaching. He made them aware of park hours and said that their conduct in a city park was inappropriate. A 17-year-old girl was issued a citation for being in the park after hours.

RICHFIELD

JULY 1

Burglary. Unknown suspects stole $5,000 to $7,000 worth of fireworks from a fireworks stand at 65th Street and Penn Avenue.

JULY 10

Theft. A wallet was stolen from a purse at the VFW, 6715 Lake Shore Dr.

VICTORIA

JULY 1

Underage consumption. An 18-year-old man was cited for underage consumption, and a juvenile female was cited for underage consumption and possession of drug paraphernalia, in the 1200 block of 79-1/2 Street.
